Where We Are
We began this negotiation in October 2018. As a company with a history of union negotiations spanning five decades, we believed we could quickly reach a deal with the union. But the union has presented demands far beyond what the company can meet and stay in business.
Even though it seems like talks have gone on for a long time, union contract negotiations in our industry usually take years. We feel like things are moving at a good speed.
We are committed to negotiating in good faith with the union and providing fair wages to our employees. We meet with the union as many times as necessary to reach an agreement.
